It gives me immense pleasure to state that Himalaya College of Engineering (HCOE) has been making progress towards its vision since its establishment in 2000. The HCOE has expanded its scope to run Bachelor of Engineering programs in four disciplines namely, Computer Engineering; Electronics, Communication and Information Engineering; Civil Engineering; and Architecture since then. Two more academic programs namely, Bachelor of Computer Science and Information Technology (B.Sc. CSIT), and Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) of the Institute of Science and Technology, Tribhuvan University (TU), were introduced at the HCOE from 2011 and 2019 respectively. The HCOE has a plan to introduce more academic programs both in undergraduate and graduate levels in engineering fields in the days ahead.

The HCOE has been applying its continuous efforts to establish itself as a model higher academic institution in Nepal. In this process, modern building infrastructures equipped with advanced laboratories and library facilities are developed to promote the 21st century university education in engineering and information technology disciplines at HCOE.

The primary objective of the HCOE has been academic excellence. Learner-centered approaches emphasizing critical thinking, use of modern technologies, integration of life skills, and promotion of collaboration and creativity have been the key features of teaching and learning at the HCOE. Not only the high student graduation rates, but many of the HCOE graduates have stood at the top ranks in the university examinations. The HCOE graduates have earned prominent positions in various government and non-government organizations inside the country. Moreover, a big number of HCOE graduates have been in foreign universities for higher education and research activities. This has been possible due to the healthy academic environment, highly experienced and dedicated faculty and staff members at HCOE.

We wholeheartedly welcome all the youths aspiring to pursue their higher education in Engineering and Information Technology fields after their high school education to the HCOE for quality learning and competitiveness of the 21st century world.
