Bachelor's Degree of Electronics & Communication Engg.

Annual Intake Capacity: 48

Semester: 8

Year: 4

Bachelor's degree in electronics and communication engineering was launched at HCOE in 2063 (2006). It is also a four-year programme of eight-semesters having 50 core and elective courses as designed by IOE. The course comprises lecture, laboratory woks and site-visits to strengthen theoretical knowledge through real practical application.
After completion of the programme, the graduates are expected to fulfill the requirement of technical human resource with a capacity to perform any kinds of engineering works of electronics, information and communication technology (ICT).

Electronics engineering is an engineering discipline which uses the scientific knowledge of the behavior and effects of electrons to develop components, devices, systems, or equipment that uses electricity as part of its driving force. This field deals with power, instrumentation engineering, efficient and user friendly telecommunications system design, implementation and control, semiconductor circuit design, and modern and efficient power equipments and production. It also covers the overall ICT sector planning, Design and Implementation as per the requirements of the market. It includes the major fields of electronics, radar and navigation control system, television and radio broadcasting engineering, computers and microprocessors application.
